Hatty's Afternoon Delight

We are on the eve of the first Thursday Night game of the year, not counting the season opener which we won't discuss, and it causes some hiccups in the lineup at times. Do you star tBrady Quinn? Will Torain have a good game?

There is nothing worse than when you start someone on Thursday and the flop just to kick yourself over the next few days until Sunday comes around and that guy on your bench goes bonkers. If you are having any dilemmas like that please feel free to email myself, Hatty or Derek with any questions or lineup advice for what is sure to be a pivotal week for getting into the playoffs.

Steven "Action" Jackson
Jackson did not practice Tuesday and Head Coach Jim Haslett has said that Jackson will not suit up unless he can go through a full practice before the weekend. This does not look promising for Jackson owners. Kenneth Darby was listed as the starting RB but word is the Rams have brought in Samkon Gado who could have some value late in the season for owners should Jackson continue to struggle getting over his injury. Hey, at least he has 70 zillion dollars to help him heal in the offseason.

ROMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know there are a lot of fantasy owners who have been tanked by Tony's pinkie injury have a little bit of good news as Romo returned to practice on Tuesday which looks good for Week 11. Hopefully his set back did not push you too far out of contention at this point.

Larry Johnson
LJ may be allowed to play by the Chiefs despite their previous report of potentially holding LJ out longer due to his off the field issues. Keep an eye on things as Jamaal Charles is set to be the starter this week but if LJ returns then there is no telling how that will impact either of them for this Sunday.

Broncos RB's
Selvin young is listed as questionable as of right now but even if he suits up chances are his workload will be minimal. This is Ryan Torain's chance to join the Matt Forte, Chris Johnson and Tim Hightower group of elite rookie RB's.

That is all for today. I will keep everyone posted with any status changes. Again, feel free to email us if you need a second opinion on what to do this week with tough lineups decisions.
