2013 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups Week 15

Kyle Terada - USA Today Sports
Check your waiver wire, but shouldn't be there...

Bobby Rainey (RB, TB) - did he get dropped?  Well it is legit, but has been playing tough defense, so obviously he shined this week against a softer run D.

DeAngelo Williams (RB, CAR) - Stewart went down with an injury and if you are in dire need of a RB then you can look to Williams, but I would much rather have many other RB's on this list.

Trent Richardson (RB, IND) - I am sure he was left for dead in most leagues, but in a PPR league you can't ignore his production this week.  Not a horrible bench stash, but still not a starter yet.  If he begins to recover he may be usable in dire situations.

Joique Bell (RB, DET) - Bush could end up missing a second week next week and Bell is a solid starter.  Double check the waiver wire just in case; he is an amazing pick-up if you are able to find him.

Must Grab

Rod Streater (WR, OAK) - is he on your waiver wire?  A healthy Streater is an interesting start if you need him.

Charles Clay (TE, MIA) - I have seen enough of Clay to know he is a solid TE and is worthy of a injury spot start or underperformed.

Toby Gerhart (RB, MIN) - run to go grab Gerhart if you own AP or just in general.  Gerhart can run well and if AP misses time then Gerhart is a wonderful spot starter.

Dennis Pitta (TE, BAL) - told you to put him on your radar last week and Flacco looks to his tight-end, so nice pick-up if you need some help at TE down the stretch here.

Grab

Marcel Reece (RB, OAK) - last minute saw that Jennings was out so I was prepared with Reece and felt so lucky.  Reece tore up the #1 ranked run D this weekend.  If Jennings comes back next week then Reece is far less valuable of course.

Jordan Todman (RB, JAX) - Todman would fill-in for MJD if he doesn't start this weekend.  He is a sneaky play so keep your eye on the news.

Chris Ogbonnaya (RB, CLE) - looks like McGahee will have a hard time starting this week after a concussion.  Ogbonnaya may be a sneaky flex play this week.

Michael Crabtree (WR, SF) - Crabtree is a legit talent and would be a nice add for your bench.

Cordarrelle Patterson (WR, MIN) - he has been on this list a ton of times this year and had another awesome performance.  He can still be boom or bust, but he has a ton more boom then bust for play-offs.

Greg Jennings (WR, MIN) - we spoke about the Jennings to Cassell connection last week; if Cassell continues to start then Jennings should be in line-ups.

Ryan Tannehill (QB, MIA) - He has been solid recently if you are need of a QB for a playoff spot start.

Daniel Thomas (RB, MIA) - had a wonderful week this week, but it's a first.  Hard to rely on someone in play-offs who consistently hasn't been tearing it up.  If Miller is out due to concussion next week then he is a super sneaky starter.

Watch

Justin Hunter (WR, TEN) - he is a huge up and down WR, so if you do ever start him do know you are truly gambling.  Love is long term upside.

LaVon Brazill (WR, IND) - Brazill is one to watch for dynasty leagues.  Brazill is a legit talent and I can see the Colts using him for a number of years.

Marlon Brown (WR, BAL) - had a wonderful week this week, but still a huge risk to start in play-offs.

Da'Rick Rogers (WR, IND) - 6'3" huge target in Indy that should replace Darrius Heyward-Bey.  Nice stash for deeper leagues and dynasty leagues.
