2013 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups Week 16

Brace Hemmelgarn - USA Today Sports
Check your waiver wire, but probably not available

Jay Cutler (QB, CHI) - very solid return and he is available on some waiver wires to replace an underperforming QB.

Greg Jennings (WR, MIN) - Matt Cassell loves Greg Jennings, as long as he plays then you have to consider Jennings as a solid starter.

Trent Richardson (RB, IND) - Donald Brown has a "stinger" and Richardson did not look too bad.  Richardson is a real flex option against KC next week.

Must Grab

Tim Wright (TE, TB) - He can be boom or bust, but mainly he has been putting up usable numbers and there are ton of injuries at TE.  Wright can be used to fill-in.

Dennis Johnson (RB, HOU) - Tate is on IR and Foster is out, looking for a fill in then go after Dennis.

Ryan Tannehill (QB, MIA) - he has been on my list weekly and has been a top 10 QB for the last weeks.  If you were an RG3 owner then go after Tannehill.

Delanie Walker (TE, TEN) - there are a number of TE's on the waiver wire that are usable, but Walker offers some of the most upside.

Grab

Da'Rick Rogers (WR, IND) - didn't quite have the outing of last week, but he is still a major target for the Colts.

Andrew Quarless (TE, GB) - looking good with Matt Flynn and he should be an ok fill-in.

Jordan Todman (RB, JAX) - if MJD's hamstring continues to bother him then Todman is very usable.

Michael Crabtree (WR, SF) - He was solid this weekend and is going to continue to take away targets from Boldin.  He should be grabbed.

Matt Asiata (RB, MIN) - if Gerhart and AP miss another week then Asiata can be used as a spot starter.  If Gerhart returns then Asiata value will be nothing.  Obviously if AP returns then he is not worth anything.

Kirk Cousins (QB, WAS) - Solid first week outing and should continue to get the starts going forward.  Cousins can be rostered.

Andre Roberts (WR, ARZ) - if Fitzgerald misses the next game due to a concussion then Roberts should see many more targets.

Watch

Edwin Baker (RB, CLE)
- let's be honest, nobody saw Baker coming, but if McGahee is out and Bake continues to get the majority of the carries then he can be considered.  For now he is just someone for your bench.
