2011 Fantasy Football Deep Sleepers Week 13

Coming into Week 13 it's time for playoff's or the last couple of games to clinch the playoffs.  There are a ton of injuries out there and you have to be ready with some deep sleepers if you don't have any other options.

Vince Young (QB, PHI) - Vick won't play again this Thursday and Vince is able to throw up solid fantasy numbers due to garbage time comeback throws.  I would expect 300 yards and a TD or two.

Kyle Orton (QB, KC) - Coach Haley is still saying Palko is the starter, but I don't believe it and he is crazy if he doesn't start Orton.  Be ready if Orton starts and you need a QB.

Plaxico Burress (NYJ, WR) - Burress is still available in many leagues, but he is borderline deep sleeper.  I expect a TD this week.

Johnny Knox (CHI, WR) - Knox is a boom or bust target, but Caleb Hanie is targeting him.  Buyer beware with Knox, but he is capable of throwing up solid numbers this week.

Brad Smith (BUF, WR) - QB turned WR Smith is looking sharp and will be used in the Buffalo offense going forward.  Stevie Johnson draws a ton of coverage, so Smith should see many targets and be a good PPR option.

Doug Baldwin (SEA, WR) - Sidney Rice is out this week and Baldwin is a very nice deep sleeper for Week 13.  I am going to start him in a couple leagues.

Jason Avant (PHI, WR) - Young looks Avant's direction and Avant is a solid PPR option for Week 13.

Toby Gerhart (MIN, RB) - Peterson will miss another week and Gerhart will start again.  He shouldn't be on waivers, but if you grabbed him then you can feel free to start him again this week.

Marion Barber (CHI, RB) - with Hanie as the starting QB Chicago is running more often.  I expect Barber to see 15 carries and a potential TD this week.

Mike Tolbert (SD, RB) - Tolbert is going to see 10+ touches this week and I expect him to find the end zone in Week 13.

Scott Chandler (BUF, TE) - I keep talking this TE up as a solid sleeper every week if you are hurting at TE.  Chandler should see 4 to 5 receptions a TD in Week 13.

Jake Ballard (NYG, TE) - Ballard always gets between 3 and 5 receptions and has the chance to see the endzone.  If your current TE is driving you nuts then give Ballard a gamble.
