2015 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 12

Tommy Gilligan - USA Today Sports
The weeks continue to fly by and play-offs are right around the corner. Week 12 is going to be important to win and you need to target upgrades and back-ups for QB, RB, WR, and TE.  There are a number of solid pick-ups for this week and you need to be aggressive about picking these players up.

The must-grab top player is Allen, but Rawls is right behind him only because of Marshawn Lynch.

Must Grab:

Stevie Johnson (WR, SD) - he should already be from the waiver wire but if he is available he is someone to use as a spot-starter.

Javorius Allen (RB, BAL) - he is the must grab of the week. You have to grab him going forward even with Joe Flacco being done for the season.  He will have nice upside in PPR leagues and is the top pick-up.

Thomas Rawls (RB, SEA) - if Lynch misses any more time Rawls is capable of putting up solid fantasy numbers. He is a must own hand-cuff for all Lynch owners.

Spot-Starter:

Tyler Lockett (WR, SEA) - the tough part with Lockett is that he isn't consistent enough to start weekly but if you are in a deep league looking for a player with upside then look to him for points.

Crockett Gillmore (TE, BAL) - even without Flacco Gillmore will still be able to put up solid numbers. He is a TE to consider.

Shaun Draughn (RB, SF) - he is getting the lion share of the work and can be used in PPR leagues weekly if you are in need. I really like what I see from him and he is someone I am using due to injuries.

Ahmad Bradshaw (RB, NYG) - if Frank Gore misses time you can expect Bradshaw to fill in nicely and have solid upside in PPR leagues. He is a nice pickup for Gore owners.

Brock Osweiler (QB, DEN) - if Peyton Manning misses more time then Brock is someone who is very capable and can be used as a spot-starter.

Darren Sproles (RB, PHI) - he is only worth spot-starting if Ryan Mathews is out again next week and carries more upside in PPR leagues.

Marquess Wilson (RB, CHI) - he was solid this week without Alshon Jeffery in the line-up. If Jeffery misses another week then you can use Wilson and he has PPR upside.

Vernon Davis (TE, SF) - for PPR league owners Davis will get more and more looks weekly with some TD upside.

Alfred Blue (RB, HOU) - he is getting the lion share of the carries but he just isn't that amazing. If you in in dire need then you can use Blue.

Jameis Winston (QB, TB) - had a solid week and now with Vincent Jackson back in the line-up his numbers should increase further.

Terrance Williams (WR, DAL) - Williams is a different WR with Tony Romo and is someone that can be used to spot-start as long as Romo is at QB.

Mark Sanchez (QB, PHI) - he is going to throw interceptions but he will throw TDs in Chip Kelly's offense. He is a gamble at QB and is a better bet in two QB leagues.

Tevin Coleman (RB, ATL) - Devonte Freeman would at most lose one game due to concussion but you will have to watch the news to see if he misses any time.

Devin Funchess (WR, SD) - Cam Newton had an amazing week and Funchess was able to benefit from it. He is still not consistent enough to recommend weekly but for now he is a stash.

Spencer Ware (RB, KC) - if Charcandrick West misses time and KC doesn't have another RB then Ware can be used to spot-start.

Watch:

Blaine Gabbert (QB, SF) - if you are having to look at Gabbert you are in a tough spot. He doesn't look horrible but can't be recommended at this point.
